About the speaker:

Dr. Rob Quicke is Professor and Director of the W. Page Pitt School of Journalism & Mass Communications at Marshall University, West Virginia. Previously, he was Professor and Chair of Communication at William Paterson University, where WPSC 88.7 FM was named Best College Radio Station in the Nation four times by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System.

Dr. Quicke is also the founder of College Radio Day and co-founder of World College Radio Day (WCRD). More than 1,000 college radio stations in 58 countries have participated. An award-winning author, Dr. Quicke published "Finding Your Voice in Radio, Audio, and Podcast Production," which was recognized with the Broadcast Education Association international 2025 Textbook Award.
